5677 (2025). Arena Williams to the Minister for State Owned Enterprises: Further to 2885, when, if at all, is the Minister planning a trip on a KiwiRail train?

Hon Simeon Brown: As the Member will be aware, the Prime Minister transferred responsibility for KiwiRail to the new Rail portfolio. Therefore, any ministerial trip on a KiwiRail train would be a matter for the Minister for Rail. However, I refer the Member to the attached photo of my visit to KiwiRail from my time as Minister of Transport.
