5669 (2024). Hon Willow-Jean Prime to the Minister for Children: What is the case load per lawyer in Oranga Tamariki's legal department, expressed as an average and a range for every year for the past five years?

Hon Karen Chhour: I am advised that the current average case load per solicitor at Oranga Tamariki is 56 cases and the range is between 27 and 108 cases. In 2021, the average case load per solicitor was 61 and in 2023 it was 48. No data on caseloads is available for 2022 or the years prior to 2021.
