Hon Karen Chhour: I am advised that the standard timeframe for Oranga Tamariki closing a complaint is within 35 working days. Complex case reviews may take longer to complete if they require considerable engagement with the person raising the complaint or other parties. Oranga Tamariki works closely with individuals to ensure they are advised about the progress of their complaint and the likely timeframe for resolution.
