5659 (2026). Hon Priyanca Radhakrishnan to the Minister responsible for the GCSB: Which departments, ministries or agencies, if any, have appointed a Chief Information Security Officer (CISO) in an acting or interim capacity?

Hon Judith Collins: I refer the Member to my response to WPQ 5655 (2026). Under the NZISM, the role of CISO does not require a new dedicated position be created in each agency.
