5655 (2024). Hon Jan Tinetti to the Minister of Education: How many, if any, schools are being funded to have teachers trained in the Better Start Literacy Approach as of April 2024?

Hon Erica Stanford: I am advised by the Ministry of Education (the Ministry) that from the time the Ministry began sector-wide implementation of the Better Start Literacy Approach in February 2021 to 12 April 2024, the Ministry has funded 936 schools for training in the Better Start Literacy Approach.
