5645 (2024). Lan Pham to the Associate Minister for the Environment: What outcomes, in terms of cost and time, if any, is the Minister seeking with changes to Freshwater Farm Plans?

Hon Andrew Hoggard: The Government is currently reviewing the freshwater farm plan system to ensure that the programme is cost efficient, pragmatic and reduces duplication. I also want to make sure that flexible farm plans can be used, where appropriate, as an alternative to costly resource consenting processes.
