5632 (2024). Hon Dr Duncan Webb to the Associate Minister of Justice: Will the Minister consider imposing a limit on the number of firearms a person can own as part of her proposed update of the Arms Act, and if not, why not?

Hon Nicole McKee: Many things will be considered during the rewrite of the Arms Act 1983 which this Government is committed to undertaking. As the rewrite of the Arms Act 1983 has yet to begin, I have yet to consider imposing a limit on the number of firearms a person can own.
