5616 (2025). Hon Dr Ayesha Verrall to the Minister of Health: Will Dr Nicholas Jones receive any termination benefits, severance payments, or other financial compensation as part of his departure, if so, what is the total cost, with a breakdown of each component?

Hon Simeon Brown: Our Government is focused on delivering timely, quality healthcare for all New Zealanders. As the Member should be aware, Dr Nicholas Jones was not terminated as he was an external secondee to the Ministry. As such, severance payments or other financial compensation is not applicable.
