5609 (2025). Hon Dr Ayesha Verrall to the Minister of Health: What, if any, additional costs have been incurred by Health New Zealand as a result the departure of Dr Nicholas Jones, other members of Health New Zealand's senior leadership, and its board, broken down by component?

Hon Simeon Brown: Our Government is focused on delivering timely, quality healthcare for all New Zealanders. I am advised that since Health New Zealand was established under the previous government, additional costs associated with the departure of senior leadership were $2.574 million. As per Written Question reply 5613 (2025), I am advised that there was $0 in additional costs as a result of Dr Jones' secondment ending.
