5608 (2024). Lan Pham to the Minister for the Environment: In the years 2021/22 and 2022/23, what had the greater consumptive volume: drinking water or irrigation?

Hon Penny Simmonds: Summaries of consumptive use from 2021/22 and 2022/23 are not readily available, but the patterns observed from 2018 data will be indicative. Irrigation had a greater consumptive volume than drinking water.
