5602 (2024). Lan Pham to the Associate Minister for the Environment: What examples of activities on private properties being restricted as a result of Significant Natural Areas can the Minister point too?

Hon Andrew Hoggard: The purpose of the National Policy Statement for Indigenous Biodiversity is to restrict the adverse effects of activities on Significant Natural Areas. It therefore restricts activities unless it is an established activity that continues at the same level.
