5596 (2025). Hūhana Lyndon to the Minister of Health: What additional funding, if any, was allocated to Middlemore Hospital Emergency Department for resourcing increased demand in winter over the past five financial years, broken down by year?

Hon Simeon Brown: Our Government is focused on delivering timely, quality healthcare for all New Zealanders. I am advised that Health New Zealand phases budgets and resourcing to match demand levels over the year when possible.
