Hon Kieran McAnulty to the Associate Minister of Housing: Further to his reply to Question 609 (2026), did he receive a 14 August 2025 briefing entitled “Further Advice on Short-term Actions to Address Homelessness” where paragraph 34a states, “Initial data indicates that a proportion of Housing First households are not on the Register currently,” and if so, how does he explain his response to Question 609 (2026) where he stated he did not receive such advice?

Hon Tama Potaka: My office did receive a copy of HUD2025-007725 Further advice on short-term actions to address homelessness dated 14 August 2025, which was not a report about households new to the Housing First programme not being on the Housing Register.
