Hon Penny Simmonds: I wrote to the Chairs of Ngāti Kuri, Te Aupōuri, and Te Ohu Kaimoana on 21 December 2023, advising that the Government intended to remove the Kermadec Ocean Sanctuary Bill from the Order Paper. The Chair of Ngāti Kuri provided a response letter.
