Hon Tama Potaka: I am advised by Te Puni Kōkiri that there was one newly established fund in 2026 that was not part of the department's standard funding calendar. Te Puni Kōkiri opened the Marae Emergency Response Fund to reimburse marae for welfare support provided during the January severe weather events across the Upper North Island. The fund was opened on 27 January 2026.
