5540 (2025). Chlöe Swarbrick to the Minister of Police: What was the cost of Operation Emerald 2023/24 season?

Hon Mark Mitchell: I am advised that the total cost of Operation Emerald for the 2023/2024 season was $491,844. This resulted in seizures and destruction of more than 23,500 cannabis plants and 51kg of dried cannabis, with a combined street value of around $66.7 million and total harm prevented of $85 million.
