5539 (2026). Francisco Hernandez to the Minister for Media and Communications: Was a selection panel set up to consider applicants for the role of Chair of the Broadcasting Standards Authority and if so, who was on the selection panel?

Hon Paul Goldsmith: I considered all expressions of interest and nominations received for the role of Chair of the Broadcasting Standards Authority and decided to recommend the reappointment of the existing Chair for a further term, therefore no selection panel was established.
