5529 (2026). Francisco Hernandez to the Minister for Trade and Investment: How many other candidates, if any, were considered for the role of Chair of Invest New Zealand when Rob Morrison was appointed in mid 2025, and how many, if any, were interviewed?

Hon Todd McClay: A number of candidates were considered for the establishment board Chair appointment, although my office does not hold a record of the exact number of candidates. No candidates were interviewed.
