5525 (2026). Hon Dr Ayesha Verrall to the Minister of Health: How many dialysis chairs are currently available for use in the Waikato Hospital renal unit; and as at 30 June in each of the last five years, how many dialysis chairs were available for use in that unit?

Hon Simeon Brown: I am advised that 53 dialysis chairs or beds were available for use in Waikato Hospital as at 30 June 2025. I am further advised that 50 dialysis chairs or beds were available in Waikato Hospital as at 30 June 2021, 2022, 2023, and 2024.
