5524 (2026). Hon Dr Ayesha Verrall to the Minister of Health: How many dialysis chairs are currently available for use in the Whakatāne Hospital renal unit; and as at 30 June in each of the last five years, how many dialysis chairs were available for use in that unit?

Hon Simeon Brown: I am advised that six dialysis chairs are currently available for use in the Whakatāne Hospital renal unit. I am further advised that there were six dialysis chairs as at 30 June for each of the last five years.
