5467 (2026). Francisco Hernandez to the Minister of Internal Affairs: Was a selection panel set up to consider applicants for the role of Chief Censor of the Office of Film and Literature Classification, and if so, who was on the selection panel?

Hon Brooke van Velden: In 2022 a selection panel headed by Marilyn Little, Deputy Chief Executive Policy and Regulation, was set up to interview and evaluate the candidates for the role. The other panel members were Kellie Combes, Chief Executive of the Ministry for Women, Rob Pope, Director Computer Emergency Response Team NZ, and Hollie Pohatu, Kaihautu at the Department of Internal Affairs.
