5452 (2026). Lan Pham to the Minister responsible for RMA Reform: When does the Minister intend to finalise changes to the National Policy Statement to Freshwater Management, as initially consulted on in May-July 2025?

Hon Chris Bishop: I am continuing to consider feedback and advice on options to amend national direction for freshwater. Decisions will be made in due course, including on process and any further consultation.
