5421 (2024). Dr Tracey McLellan to the Minister of Corrections: Does he intend to increase education tutors in prisons, if not, why not?

Hon Mark Mitchell: I am advised that the number of education tutors in each prison is an operational matter, with staffing numbers determined by Corrections' officials. I have not received advice recommending an increase to education tutors at this time.
