Hon Kieran McAnulty to the Minister of Housing: Further to his replies to Question 522 (2026) and 57392 (2025), what were the floor areas for the Auckland Kāinga Ora projects in McKenzie Rd 84-92, Auckland; Reeves Rd 10-12, Pakuranga; and Kelvin Road 88-88a, Papakura and which, if any, of these projects were purchased from developers?

Hon Chris Bishop: Kāinga Ora – Homes and Communities advises me that the floor areas for the properties at 84-92 McKenzie Road, Auckland, are as follows: • 14 x 4-bedroom homes at 170 m² • 17 x 3-bedroom homes at 113 m² • 12 x 2-bedroom homes at 86 m² This project was completed by a private developer and delivered through partnership, in which Kāinga Ora contributed adjacent land to enable the delivery of 43 new homes. The floor areas for the properties at 88-88a Kelvin Road, Papakura, are: • Block A: 4 x 2-bedroom homes at 87 m² • Block B, C, D: 12 x 4-bedroom homes at 160 m² • Block E: 8 x 2-bedroom homes at 93 m² The floor areas for the properties at 10-12 Reeves Road, Pakuranga, are: • 7 x 2-bedroom homes at 83 m² • 3 x 4-bedroom homes at 160 m² • 2 x 3-bedroom homes at 138 m² Both projects (Kelvin Road and Reeves Road) were purchased from developers.
