5379 (2025). Hon Julie Anne Genter to the Minister of Revenue: Does the Minister plan to progress the double tax agreement with Iceland, and if so, when?

Hon Simon Watts: I intend to progress the Double Tax Agreement (DTA) with Iceland and have included it as part of the DTA work programme. Round two of negotiation is taking place in February 2025. The timeline to conclude the negotiations depend on the progress made during each round and other competing priorities.
