5370 (2026). Teanau Tuiono to the Minister of Internal Affairs: How many people, if any, have had their citizenship approved under section 7A of the Citizenship (Western Samoa) Act 1982?

Hon Brooke van Velden: I am advised by the Department of Internal Affairs that a total of 2327 individuals have been granted citizenship under section 7A of the Citizenship (Western Samoa) Act 1982 for the period 26 November 2024, when the amendment to the Act came into force, to 19 February 2026.
