5311 (2026). Hon Dr Ayesha Verrall to the Minister of Health: How many patients have been on the waitlist for Ophthalmology Service in Te Toka Tumai Auckland at the end of each month over the past five years, broken down by wait-time?

Hon Simeon Brown: I am advised that Health New Zealand publishes total waitlists and the number waiting longer than four months by district and specialty each quarter. These are reported by month for the last 10 years and can be found on the Health New Zealand website.
