5301 (2026). Tangi Utikere to the Minister of Transport: Has any analysis been undertaken to determine whether drivers holding the 459 fraudulently converted licences were involved in crashes or safety incidents, and if so, will that analysis be released publicly?

Hon Chris Bishop: Yes, such analysis has been completed by NZTA, however, releasing the analysis at this time could prejudice the maintenance of the law, including these people’s rights to a fair trial.
