5290 (2026). Tangi Utikere to the Minister of Transport: Which motor vehicle manufacturers, importers, or industry bodies, if any, have advocated for abolishing the Clean Vehicle Standard since 1 January 2024, whether through meetings, correspondence, or submissions?

Hon Chris Bishop: As Minister of Transport, I regularly meet with industry stakeholders and receive correspondence from them. I am also updated by officials on stakeholder views. I do not consider it to be in the public interest to identify and collate the material requested as it would require a diversion of resources that would interfere with the operation of my Office.
