5238 (2026). Hon Ginny Andersen to the Minister of Police: Further to Written Parliamentary Question 1429 (2026); how much funding have Police spent, if any, from their baseline to date towards the establishment and operation of Co-Response Teams as part of the Transition to a multi-agency Response to 111 mental distress calls?

Hon Mark Mitchell: I am advised that support for the establishment of new co-response teams is being provided by staff in the Prevention Group at Police National Headquarters and by local Mental Health leads in the relevant districts. Police does not record staff time spent on establishment activities in a way that allows the associated costs to be identified. The co-response teams are not yet operational.
