5232 (2024). Rt Hon Chris Hipkins to the Prime Minister: What advice, reports, briefings, aide-memoires, risk-registers, or any other documents, if any, has the Prime Minister or any member of their Office received during the week of 1 April 2024, by title and date?
Rt Hon Christopher Luxon: As Prime Minister, I regularly request and receive advice from officials on a range of matters. In my capacity as the Prime Minister, I received the following documents between 1 -5 April 2024 from my officials in the Department of the Prime Minister and Cabinet (DPMC): • Ettie Rout: letter of appreciation, 3 April 2024 • Foreign honour for New Zealand citizen, 3 April 2024 • King’s Birthday 2024 Honours List (KB2024): APH 2 briefing, 4 April 2024 • Conflicts of interest quarterly report: January – March 2024, 4 April 2024 • Updates on the 15 March RCOI work programme and legacy options, 5 April 2024. I have received briefings from the Policy Advisory Group, a business unit of DPMC, during the requested timeframe however I am not releasing the titles of these briefings. In addition, staff in my office may informally receive documents, including draft documents, from my officials in DPMC and from other agencies, and from Ministers’ offices. This information is not held in a format that can be easily extracted within the time frame.
