Francisco Hernandez to the Minister for Tourism and Hospitality: What is the current level of compliance, if any, within the Minister’s departments, agencies, crown entities and any other bodies that the Minister is responsible for, if any, with NZ Government Web Standards, which require public sector websites to be accessible?

Hon Louise Upston: As Minister for Tourism and Hospitality, I have no responsibility for any government departments or Ministries. In respect of the Ministry of Business, Innovation and Employment, I refer the Member to the Minister for Economic Growth’s answer to written parliamentary question 5216 (2026). With regard to Crown entities under the Tourism and Hospitality portfolio, I am advised that all Tourism New Zealand websites currently achieve over 75 per cent compliance with the NZ Government Web Standards for accessibility.
