5210 (2026). Francisco Hernandez to the Minister for Rail: What is the current level of compliance, if any, within the Minister’s departments, agencies, crown entities and any other bodies that the Minister is responsible for, if any, with NZ Government Web Standards, which require public sector websites to be accessible?

Rt Hon Winston Peters: The New Zealand Government Web Standards apply to public service departments and non-public service departments in the Executive branch. This is outlined on the digital.govt.nz website here: NZ-Govt-Web-Guidelines-Cabionet-Minute-03-41-2B.pdf. The companies for which the Minister for Rail is responsible fall into neither category.
