5202 (2026). Francisco Hernandez to the Minister for Social Investment: What is the current level of compliance, if any, within the Minister’s departments, agencies, crown entities and any other bodies that the Minister is responsible for, if any, with NZ Government Web Standards, which require public sector websites to be accessible?

Hon Nicola Willis: I am advised by the Social Investment Agency (SIA) that their primary public website was uplifted in late 2025 and is compliant with the New Zealand Government Web Standards. A Centralised Web Accessibility Checker (CWAC) assessment in December 2025 confirmed a 100% pass for the site. The December CWAC assessment also identified issues on several legacy or historical SIA related websites. SIA is now assessing which of these legacy sites are still required and the extent of remediation needed for those that will be retained. This work is underway. However, a confirmed timeline for full compliance across all sites is not yet available.
