Hon David Seymour: A Non-Enrolment Notification (NEN) occurs when a child has left one school and has not been recorded in the ENROL system as enrolled in another school. The average time it took to re-engage a student with a NEN from November 2023 to March 2024 is listed by month below: • November 2023: 123 calendar days • December 2023: 162 calendar days • January 2024: 205 calendar days • February 2024: 182 calendar days • March 2024: 196 calendar days. Please note that data is live as at 10 April 2024, and is subject to change. Numbers provided only include NEN cases with a closure reason of assisted enrolment, assisted Alternative Education placement, assisted exemption or home-schooling exemption.
