5163 (2026). Hon Kieran McAnulty to the Associate Minister of Housing: Further to WPQ 694 (2026), what is the estimated financial impact, if any, of the consenting delays on the 18 reforecast projects, including cost escalation or holding costs?

Hon Tama Potaka: Kāinga Ora – Homes and Communities advises me that consenting delays have mainly resulted in deferred rental income and, in some cases, additional redesign work. There are no cost escalation or holding costs. Impacts vary by project and are managed within approved budgets.
