5156 (2026). Hon Kieran McAnulty to the Associate Minister of Housing: Further to WPQ 694 (2026), what steps, if any, is Kāinga Ora taking at a national level to reduce systemic consenting bottlenecks, including engagement with central government agencies or regulatory reform initiatives?

Hon Tama Potaka: Kāinga Ora – Homes and Communities advises me that it works with more than 20 councils and regularly engages with delivery partners and HUD to provide feedback and contribute to regulatory reforms aimed at reducing consenting bottlenecks.
