5148 (2024). Ingrid Leary to the Minister for Mental Health: Was the Minister’s Office consulted on the Ministry of Health’s staff consultation document on cost savings?

Hon Matt Doocey: I am advised that my office was not consulated on the Ministry of Health's change proposal. The Ministry of Health has publicly stated that it did not sufficiently brief me on the proposed organisational changes. I was briefed by the Director-General of Health on the Ministry’s organisational structure change proposals for the first time in detail on 8 April 2024.
