5142 (2026). Hon Dr Duncan Webb to the Minister for Tourism and Hospitality: What will the total cost of the Michelin Guide project be in the event that there are no establishments that are awarded any Michelin stars?

Hon Louise Upston: I refer the Member to written parliamentary question 53093 (2025). This total incorporates a programme of work to bring Michelin Guide to New Zealand, including initial scoping, restaurant assessments in Auckland, Wellington, Christchurch and Queenstown and Tourism New Zealand marketing and promotional activity.
