5133 (2026). Steve Abel to the Minister for Energy: What advice, briefings, correspondence or other communication, if any, has the Minister received on the monetary cost of LNG importation into New Zealand?

Hon Simon Watts: The cost of the facility is estimated to be between $90 and $180 million per year. In addition, LNG is expected to cost between $20-25/GJ to the user.
