5127 (2026). Steve Abel to the Minister for Energy: What advice, briefings, correspondence or other communication, if any, has the Minister received on the cost comparison between LNG and domestic fossil gas?

Hon Simon Watts: I have received a range of advice on both LNG prices, and gas prices. The future price of domestic gas is highly uncertain, but likely to continue to increase while supply is declining.
