Hon Erica Stanford: The Teaching Council did not advise me of why Debbie Francis was selected to review the Teaching Council because this is an operational matter for the Teaching Council, who is responsible for this publication. The Teaching Council is an independent statutory entity and is accountable to the Chief Executive and Board, not the Minister of Education.
