5094 (2024). Tangi Utikere to the Minister of Transport: Further to the Minister’s answer to written question 3614 (2024); did the Minister or his Office request this advice and, if not, why not?

Hon Simeon Brown: I have requested a range of advice on the Coalition Government’s approach to speed limits, which will ensure that when speed limits are set, economic impacts – including travel times – and the views of road users and local communities are taken into account, alongside safety. The advice I have received will be proactively released in due course.
