5083 (2024). Hon Dr Duncan Webb to the Minister of Justice: What evidence does the minister have that all of the gangs listed in his proposed legislation are "promoting, encouraging, or engaging in criminal activity" as set out in WPQ 3494 2024?

Hon Paul Goldsmith: The Gangs Legislation Amendment Bill proposes to carry forward the designations of gangs currently in force. These were made in accordance with the Prohibition of Gang Insignia in Government Premises Act 2013.
