5066 (2024). Hon Kieran McAnulty to the Minister of Local Government: Will the Government assist local authorities with the cost of holding binding polls regarding the establishment of Māori wards?

Hon Simeon Brown: Financial assistance for holding polls will not be provided to local authorities. The Government has timed the polls with the next local body elections to minimise costs.
