Hon Dr Ayesha Verrall to the Minister for Mental Health: What progress, if any, has been made in the quarter July to September 2024 on the action area ‘Support healthy policies at national, regional and local levels that prevent and minimise gambling harm’ under ‘Objective 3: Strengthen leadership and accountability to achieve equity’ within the Ministry of Health’s Strategy to Prevent and Minimise Gambling Harm 2022/23 to 2024/25?

Hon Matt Doocey: I am advised that during the July to September 2024 quarter, a collaboration of gambling harm providers and Auckland University of Technology developed an evidence-based paper about online gambling to support national policy development.
