Hon Dr Ayesha Verrall to the Minister for Mental Health: What progress, if any, has been made in the quarter July to September 2024 on the action area ‘Enable the development of kaupapa Māori and gambling-harm prevention and minimisation services centred around the whānau’ under ‘Objective 4: Strengthen the health and health equity of Māori, Pacific peoples, Asian peoples and young people / rangatahi’ within the Ministry of Health’s Strategy to Prevent and Minimise Gambling Harm 2022/23 to 2024/25?

Hon Matt Doocey: I am advised that during the July to September 2024 quarter, the 19 Māori-specific services contracted to prevent and minimize gambling harm continued to deliver support and services, including engaging with whānau and communities.
