5017 (2024). Arena Williams to the Minister of Science, Innovation and Technology: How many staff work for the National Institute of Water and Atmospheric Research (NIWA), listed by operational, policy and enablement functions, as of 1 March 2024?

Hon Judith Collins: I am advised that NIWA does not employ policy staff and as of 1 March 2024, the headcounts for operational and enablement (functional) staff are 574 and 189 respectively.
