5000 (2025). Hon Willow-Jean Prime to the Minister for Children: Further to 81770 (2024), what is meant when the term 'family therapy' is used in the Oranga Tamariki military-style academy pilot as one of the elements that comprise the model for transitions and community?

Hon Karen Chhour: I have been advised by Oranga Tamariki that for the purpose of the military-style academy pilot, ‘family therapy’ can refer to any intervention identified that the family/whānau of the young people taking part in the pilot may require and consent to engage in.
