4984 (2026). Arena Williams to the Minister of Commerce and Consumer Affairs: As of 16 February 2026, how many incorporated societies, if any, have not re-registered before the 5 April 2026 deadline?

Hon Scott Simpson: As at 16 February 2026: • 12,024 existing societies had reregistered under the new 2022 Act • 9464 existing societies had not yet re-registered • 2319 new societies had registered for the first time under the new 2022 Act.
